When I started advancing in the team roping world, I turned to my uncle Rick, who has always been my role model and hero. He helped me gain the knowledge I needed to compete at the professional level. Uncle Rick had lots of tips to keep my heeling at the peak level I needed to become a winner. He also had very useful advice about how to keep the horses tuned up for the rodeos.
I am very thankful to Grandpa and Uncle Rick for the knowledge they have instilled in me. Without them I would not be at the level I am today.
I also owe a lot of the credit to the horses I rope on. The horse that I rodeo on now is a 9-year old buckskin mare that we call "Playgirl." (She is shown in the picture above and below.) We also have a 5-year old in training that we call "Slugger." I'd like to thank my parents, Clifford and Holly, as well.
"Playgirl"

I have realized after being in this buisness that it is hard to make it on your own. It takes good sponsors to really be able to have a shot at being the best. With that said, I would sincerely like to thank the support from the sponsors I have:
Fast Back Ropes
Professionals Choice
Petrol
Brawley Express
Rodeomart.com
T-3 Developers (Dan Turley who has been a tremendous help)
I'd also like to thank my wife Brooke Reidhead, the love of my life, for all the effort and patience she has given me.
We got married on June, 6 2009.
The main purpose of this blog is to let folks know my goals, and to invite anyone along the way who is interested in helping. If you are interested in doing so or would like to hear more, I can be contacted at : heeler9@hotmail.com
I have gotten off to a good start, and I know my first NFR is just around the corner. However, with your help and my dedication, the things I will achieve will exceed the things I have achieved. I really do appreciate your time.
